Switch off at the machine's own button, then give it time to cool before the service door is opened. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why won't the infuser come out of my Bertazzoni? Bertazzoni's troubleshooting table points to a machine that was not switched off with its own button, which leaves the infuser out of its rest position. Turn it on, then off properly, and try again. ### How often should the Bertazzoni infuser be cleaned? At least once a month, rinsed in plain water. Soap removes the grease that lets it slide. ### Is the brewing unit the same as the infuser on a Bertazzoni? Yes. The screen says brewing unit while the manual calls the part the infuser. --- **[Read on the site: Bertazzoni Insert brewing unit: the infuser is not in place](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/error-codes/bertazzoni-insert-brewing-unit/)** **[Book a visit with CoffeeMachineRepair.center](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
