Set the mains switch off and wait a full sixty seconds. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can a software update fix Restart appliance on a Gaggenau? Gaggenau notes that a machine kept connected to Home Connect receives software updates that can remove errors. Connecting it is worth doing before a visit if the screen is occasional. ### Where is the mains switch on a Gaggenau Expressive? Inside the machine: the manual's interior view shows it behind the door, beside the cartridge compartment cover. Standby leaves the electronics powered, which is why the screen asks for the switch itself. ### My Gaggenau asks to restart after every few drinks. Is it worth fixing? Yes. A current Expressive model is built to be serviced, and a repeating error usually traces to a single part. --- **[Read on the site: Gaggenau Expressive: Restart appliance](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/error-codes/gaggenau-restart-appliance/)** **[Book a visit with CoffeeMachineRepair.center](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
