The TCM24 keeps its clock only while it has power. After an outage, or after the power switch behind the door was used, the clock returns to 12:00 and the saved clock settings are lost. Thermador coffee machine display What to do when 12:00 shows on the coffee machine ### Kind of code Control board and power The electronics that read the keys and run the grinder, the pump and the heater have flagged a problem with themselves or with the power reaching them: a supply that dipped or spiked, a board that lost its settings after an outage, a display or touch panel that stopped answering, or a relay that stuck. One switch-off at the key or the breaker clears a passing glitch; a message that returns, or any hot smell, means the power stays off and a technician tests the board. ### Usually leads to Coffee machine control board repair Testing and replacing the power board, control board and touch panel of a coffee machine, and the sensors they read. ### Shows up as What a Coffee Machine Error Code or Warning Symbol Means A coffee machine error code may show as a short string of letters and numbers, a flashing symbol for water, grounds or the brew unit, a short sentence on a text display, or a machine that stops with one light blinking. ### Make Thermador Thermador built-in coffee machines are diagnosed in the cabinet they sit in, starting with how the owner fills, cleans and empties the unit day to day. ### Source Thermador Coffee Machines – Error Codes page (12:00 entry) On Thermador's error-code page for coffee machines and in the TCM24 Use and Care Guides. ## Before you book, in this order. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Set the time again in the clock menu. 02 For everyday use, send the machine into energy saving mode with the I button rather than the power switch, so the clock is kept. 03 If 12:00 returns without an outage or a switch-off, book a visit. ### Still there? It usually turns into [coffee machine control board repair](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/services/coffee-machine-control-board-repair/). Set the time again in the clock menu. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does a Thermador showing 12:00 lose my saved drinks? Thermador's note speaks of re-entering the values after a power loss. Check your saved drinks and re-save any that were reset. ### Why does my Thermador reset to 12:00 every few days? Short power dips can do it. If the house has no outages and nobody uses the power switch, the supply to the machine or its board needs checking. ### Is there a way to stop the Thermador clock showing at all? Thermador mentions an Off option in the clock display menu. Choosing it hides the clock instead of resetting it. --- **[Read on the site: Thermador coffee machine display shows 12:00](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/error-codes/thermador-12-00/)** **[Book a visit with CoffeeMachineRepair.center](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
