Let the TCM24 cool with the power switch off before you open its door. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Does the Thermador self-cleaning replace cleaning the brewing unit? No. The steam and hot water rinse clears the lines, but the brewing unit still needs to come out for a hand rinse now and then. ### My Thermador brewing unit will not go back in. What did I do wrong? Thermador lists two causes: the unit is in the wrong position or it is still locked. The guide shows how to reset it; forcing it can crack the housing guides. ### Can I use soap on the Thermador brewing unit? Rinse it with plain running water. Detergent residue can stay in the unit and end up in the next cup. --- **[Read on the site: Thermador TCM24: Clean brewing unit](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/error-codes/thermador-clean-brewing-unit/)** **[Book a visit with CoffeeMachineRepair.center](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/schedule/)**
