Book a visit

# Book a coffee machine repair visit.

One short form books a coffee machine visit, and no card details are asked for. Nothing is owed until someone has tested the machine and explained what the repair involves.

## What the form asks, and why.

What you write is read before the van sets off, which raises the odds that the seal, the sensor or the milk part your machine needs is already on board. The form binds you to nothing, and a price is only ever given once the cause is found.

Have the model number to hand if you can find it: [where the model plate is](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/guides/find-the-coffee-machine-model-plate/) covers the usual places.

### Step one The machine and its trouble

Built-in with a tank, plumbed built-in, countertop bean-to-cup or manual espresso, the make, and whether it pours nothing, pours thin or cold, will not grind, jams at the brew unit, leaves the milk flat, leaks into the tray or the cabinet, or shows a message. That tells us who to send and which seals, sensors and milk parts to bring.

### Step two A day that works

Morning or afternoon, on whichever day fits around work, the school run and everything else.

### Step three Getting to the machine

Whether it is built into a tall cabinet, sits on a counter or runs from a water line, where the shutoff for that line is, and a phone number for the day. Owner or tenant, a gate code, a parking spot, a dog that greets visitors: every detail saves time.

## After you book, the visit.

The three steps above are the booking. These four are what happens once a technician is in your kitchen.

[What repairs cost](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/cost/)

01

### A test cup, step by step

The technician pours a coffee and a milk drink while watching the grinder, the brew unit, the pump pressure and the heat, then tries the rinse, the sensors and the water supply one at a time. A built-in is slid out of its cabinet and the housing opened by the technician, with the power off.

02

### The price, then the part

You hear what failed and what setting it right comes to in the same conversation, then decide. When a new machine makes more sense than the part, the technician tells you plainly.

03

### Common parts on the van

Brew-unit seals and O-rings, milk tubes and connectors, drip tray and grounds sensors, water filters and descaling agent usually travel with us. A brew unit, a grinder, a pump, a heater or a control board is made for one model and gets ordered; with the model number in the booking, the order can go in before the visit.

04

### Pouring before we leave

With the part fitted and the covers closed, the machine pours an espresso and a milk drink in front of you, the cup is checked for heat and volume, a rinse cycle runs clean and the machine is handed back brewing.

## Before the technician arrives.

Three things that make the first visit the only one.

[What a code means](https://coffeemachinerepair.center/error-codes/)

### Keep it off after a leak or a smell

After water in the cabinet, steam spraying, a burning smell or a breaker that tripped, do not switch the machine back on to see if it happens again. Leave its power off, close the water shutoff on a plumbed unit, and wait for us.

### Note what the display says

A descale prompt, a number, a symbol for the tank or the grounds, a light that blinks: write it down or take a photo. A message without the make and model beside it tells only half the story.

### Clear the way to it

Empty the drip tray and the grounds container, take the cups and canisters off the counter or the ledge in front of it, and clear the cabinet below a built-in. Think back to when it started: a new bag of beans, a skipped descale, a move, an outage, a tank put back crooked.

## Where we come out.

Nine metros. If your street is not listed, give the address in the form and we will say straight away.

## Questions about booking.

### Does it cost anything to request a coffee machine visit?

No. The request is free, and nothing is charged up front. No part is fitted until the cause and its cost have been explained and you have agreed.

### Where is the model plate on a coffee machine?

On most built-in coffee systems it shows once the front door is open, on the frame near the brew unit or behind the drip tray. Countertop machines tend to carry it under the drip tray, below the water tank or on the base. If it is worn or hidden, that holds nothing up; we find it at the visit.

### Can I book the coffee machine repair by phone instead?

Yes. Our number and hours are at the top of each page. Calls and forms land with the same people, and on a busy day a form is often answered first.

### What happens if my coffee machine is not worth fixing?

The technician says so during the diagnosis and explains why, before a single part is ordered. A worn grinder in a basic countertop machine and a failed seal in a costly built-in coffee system lead to opposite answers, and the visit is how we learn which one you have.
