The machine thinks the grounds container is full or missing, or the drip tray is full or out of place, and it will not brew until that changes. Most machines count the pucks rather than weigh them, so the message returns if the container is emptied while the power is off or put back too quickly. When it stays after a proper emptying, the tray contacts, the sensor or the counter on the board is checked at the visit.

With the machine on, pull the grounds container and leave it out for at least 15 seconds so the counter resets.
Empty it, refit it with the inner drip tray, and watch for LED 29 to flash once as the reset is confirmed.
If LED 29 keeps flashing with both parts in place, book a visit.

Emptying the drawer with the machine off does not reset the count, which is why the light can come straight back. A flashing light points to fit, not to how full the drawer is.
