Who writes
the guides.

Every coffee machine article on this site is drafted by the people who carry out espresso and coffee system repairs in local homes. A subject earns a page when owners keep describing it on booking: a cup that comes out thin, a grinder that whirs without beans moving, milk that will not foam, a tray that fills too quickly, or a descale reminder that returns the morning after.

Our pages stick to machines our own crew fixes, and a display message gets explained only after the manufacturer has documented it. A line that rests on a manual links to that manual; a line that comes from what we have found inside machines on our own calls says so plainly.

Why the coffee comes out weak: strength, grind, scale and a clogged brew unit

How a guide
is written.

Four rules every guide on this site follows, from the first question to the last revision.

01

Started from what owners report

Topics come from the words people use when they book a coffee machine visit, and each one is paired with the steps an owner can safely take first: tank reseated, tray and grounds container emptied and refitted, a rinse run, the milk tube cleaned.

02

Checked against the maker's papers

Descaling intervals, filter types, brew unit care and the meaning of each display message are taken from the maker's own manual or service sheet, linked beside the sentence that uses it.

03

Water, heat and power

The same limits appear on every page: water moving toward an outlet means staying clear and switching the breaker only from a dry panel, with the shutoff closed on a plumbed unit; a burning smell means the breaker goes off; steam or hot water spraying means stepping back and letting the machine cool. No page asks an owner to open the housing or slide a built-in out of its cabinet.

04

Posted, then revised

A coffee machine guide shows when it went up and when it was last touched; that later date changes as soon as a maker updates a manual the guide cites.

Questions about
the guides.

Who writes the coffee machine guides here?
Our espresso and coffee system technicians, the ones who take the appointments booked on this site. Anything they observe at a grinder, pump or brew unit is weighed against the maker's own literature when such literature is available.
Is any coffee machine maker behind these articles?
No. We are an independent repair service, no manufacturer pays for this site, and none of them reviews a page before it is posted.
Spotted something wrong in a coffee machine article?
Send it through the contact form with the page and the sentence you think is wrong. When we confirm it, the line is corrected and the revised date on that page is updated.
